on italian tennis twitter there were some wild rumors circulating yesterday about them, so maybe he got word of it and thought he was being set up for some clickbait headline or there is actually truth to those rumors and he’s pissed

Even if there were any truth to it, they were already exes, so why would Berrettini be upset? The "BroCode" is a bit outdated. At most, the issue would concern Musetti's partner, if they're not separated.

For his 6'5'' height, Etcheverry just doesn't have a nearly good enough serve, coupled with a mediocre backhand and it's tough for him in faster courts. 8 opening round exits in 9 last tournaments (all hard court) is some alarming form.

He looked fine until Madrid I think and then the wheels fell off for him. Had sort of a random USO run helped by not meeting a single seeded player on the way, but his form has been terrible overall.

15-23 since winning Rio. And I'm amazed from where he got those 15 wins 😭! Was 1 win away from USO QF, but apart from that it is disaster.

I wish he invested some time in at least getting his serve on a higher level long term. Has been on the main tour for like 5 years now and I haven't seen him improve much since his early career days whatsoever.
You'd never think he's so tall by how he hits and plays, it's a shame and a waste of his build that's the ATP meta go-to nowadays.

Yeah he was pretty good from Australia though Madrid and reached his career high ranking of 25 but he’s now 6-18 in his last 24 matches
Obviously some losses are understandable like Fils, Medvedev, Tsitsipas, Tommy Paul, Nakashima and Bublik but many are to lower ranked players than him or players not having a great year themselves.. Belluci, Atmane, Diallo, Sonego, Borges (a bunch of times), Svrcina.
It confuses me that he’s not a bit more successful cuz on paper he doesn’t do anything terribly to me but somehow doesn’t put it all together to win a lot of matches.
