Katerina Siniakova has once again proven that she is one of the most talented individuals competing on the professional tennis circuit.

Siniakova, who is undoubtedly a future Hall of Fame player, has won 13 Grand Slam titles across doubles and mixed doubles and is currently the world number one.

The Czech star is also an accomplished singles player, as evidenced by her career-high ranking of 27 on the WTA Tour .

Siniakova added to her collection of WTA titles on Sunday, demolishing American player Ashlyn Krueger to win the Japan Open .

How did the Hradec Králové native capture her sixth WTA singles title?

Siniakova, currently ranked 86th on the WTA Tour, began her week in Osaka, Japan, by knocking out second seed Peyton Stearns.

The Czech player led Stearns 6-4, 0-6, 4-0 when the American was forced to retire through injury.

The 30-year-old took full advantage of her good fortune, beating Magda Linette, Mary Stoiana and Katie Boulter in straight sets.

Siniakova's excellent form continued in Sunday's championship contest, as the Czech-born superstar triumphed 6-1, 6-0 against Ashlyn Krueger.

Comparatively, Krueger won only 46 per cent of her first-serve points and 25 per cent of her second-serve points.

"I'm so happy to be back here in Osaka after 14 years," Siniakova said during her post-match speech on Sunday.

"So it's amazing. Thank you so much for coming, supporting us. You make an amazing crowd, really supportive, so thank you one more time for coming."

Siniakova was slightly off in calculating the last time she competed at the Japan Open.

The Czech player last participated in the event in 2015, where she lost in the first round to Belgian player Yanina Wickmayer.

Siniakova is now set to travel west to China for the Guangzhou Open, which will take place from October 26 to November 1.

Ann Li, from America, is the defending champion.
