We need to band together and send players a lot more love on their posts , we can do more than just laugh at the gamblers

Funny how you think laughing at others is a decent way of revenge. A tennis player is rich and famous I’m sure they don’t need your posts to cope with a few comments. Just a bit of attention seeking from a tennis player whose feeling some sort of way after a loss

Money and fame don’t take away basic human emotions.
The way that you think rich and famous people aren’t humans like you is a serious sign of dehumanization.

So how much did you lose?

gambling and betting is such a cancer to sport, how miserable and lifeless are these individuals.. addiction is a disease

It’s even crazier because they obviously don’t even give a fuck about tennis.
It’s just pure gambling addiction.

one THOUSAND percent. they don't realise that these players are real human beings with real emotions and real lives.. it's genuinely really sad, but i'll never feel bad for these disgusting troglodytes who take their own addiction out on professional athletes who see more success than they ever will

They do realise that but they don’t care. Obviously the players aren’t to blame at all but I can’t imagine checking notifications or even going on social media

yeah, i hear it for sure. and it shouldn't even be that way, players shouldn't have to be scared of checking their phones after a loss which is the sad part :/ it's hard to have faith in humanity when people like this can't be normal.

Tennis is more addictive than other sports apparently, because of the amount of things you can bet on and the wild variations, you can get lucky. Ultimately though you're just going to go bankrupt long term unless you're actually getting a direct satellite live feed or sitting at the match to increase chances. But yeah, you're not going to win 😅

my guess is bankruptcy or you realise you need to seek professional help for addiction, whichever comes first
14. u/secretsodapop · 2026-10-23 16:24 UTC
Tennis is 24/7/365 basically.

I also bet from time to time but I would never write such things to players because it's always my own choice to place a bet. I'm not sure it's a betting problem and more like there are many shitty people out there Problem.

In 2025, the US Open didn’t have any sports gambling sponsors and I used to tell everyone how refreshing it was. Fast forward 1 year and freaking Kalshi is right on the side of the court.
