The field for the 2026 Nitto ATP Finals is now set.
After Carlos Alcaraz defeated Taylor Fritz on Friday in the Rolex Paris Masters quarter-finals, Rafael Jodar has qualified for the season finale, joining Alexander Zverev , Alcaraz, Ben Shelton , Daniil Medvedev , Flavio Cobolli , Arthur Fils and Frances Tiafoe in the field.
Zverev (2018 and 2021) and Medvedev (2020) are the two former Nitto ATP Finals singles champions set to compete in the year-end championships, which will take place in Turin from 15-22 November.
There will be four first-time competitors in the season finale: Cobolli, Fils, Tiafoe and Jodar. Zverev, the new World No. 1 in the PIF ATP Rankings, leads the way, having qualified for the ninth time.
Three members of the ATP No. 1 Club — Zverev, Alcaraz and Medvedev — will compete at Inalpi Arena. Every Nitto ATP Finals champion since 2020 is now a member of the No. 1 Club.
Jodar was a practice partner at the 2024 Next Gen ATP Finals , then qualified for the event in 2025. He is the first player to qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals the year after competing in the Next Gen ATP Finals since countryman Alcaraz did so in 2021 and 2022.
One year ago, Jodar was still a college student-athlete at the University of Virginia and the No. 166 player in the PIF ATP Rankings. Now he is set to compete in the ATP Tour's season finale.
Cobolli is the fourth active Italian to play on home soil in the season finale, joining Matteo Berrettini , Jannik Sinner and Lorenzo Musetti . It is the fourth consecutive year in which an Italian has qualified for the singles field in Turin.
Fils will be the first Frenchman to compete in the season finale since Gael Monfils in 2016. With Alcaraz and Jodar in the field, two Spaniards have directly qualified for the first time since 2015 ( Rafael Nadal and David Ferrer ).
Shelton will try to become the first left-handed player to win the Nitto ATP Finals title since John McEnroe in 1984. Shelton (University of Florida) and Jodar (University of Virginia) both played college tennis, making it the first edition since 2018 ( Kevin Anderson and John Isner ) in which two former college tennis players have qualified for the season finale.
Shelton and Tiafoe will try to become the first American to win the year-end championships since Pete Sampras in 1999.
DRAW CEREMONY This will be the sixth edition of the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin. The draw is set to take place on Thursday 12 November at approximately 12:45 p.m. CET, following the pre-tournament press conference.
This year, the singles groups will be the John McEnroe Group and the Ivan Lendl Group. In doubles, there will be the Todd Woodbridge Group and the Mark Woodforde Group.
