Well deserved! Rybakina has been so impressive this season

Last year she didn’t make a single Slam QF and was ranked 13 in the summer. This year she’s won 2 of them and taken year end #1. Can’t believe it I’m so happy for her

It’s been a WILD 12 months. Like if you told me just over a year ago that she’d finish the season with 2 slams and year-end world no 1, I think I might have laughed at you. And it’s not that I didn’t think she was capable, but there’s a big difference between being capable and actually doing it consistently enough to be the best in the world.

Her comeback has been so impressive I completely forgot it was a comeback.

Wasn’t there a point last year where she wasn’t even in the top 10? Such a great turnaround for her, totally deserved.

Yeah she was 12th seed at RG. Played Iga in the 4R

Yep, and dropped to 13 after Wimbledon, I think that was her lowest.

Yes, she actually fell to like, No. 13 after an early exit at Wimbledon. She even had to play No. 5 Swiatek in a fourth round at RG.
It was after Montreal that she returned to the top 10, and finished the year at No. 5.

I've been waiting for her to dominate. Glad to see.

She could do it, considering she’s hitting form and the other top 10 players mostly either had bad Asian Swings, have been injured, or just not played much since the US Open.

She really cleaned up this season, the poster with all those trophies is a nice touch

Well deserved for Elena! She’s played some of her best tennis ever, her AO and USO runs speak for themselves.
Hopefully, this gives her some nice confidence going into the WTA FInals.

I remember comments during this season that she deserves at ,,least few weeks as no.1” and now shes year-end 🥺
