It's funny how much Alcaraz's game makes his opponents look optically better not just him lol
Khachanov is a good player but normally he's the dictionary definition of zero variety at all you don't see him playing these kinds of crazy net points in 90% of his matches

It shows how insane Alcaraz's returning is that he can compete with this level of serving lol
Guy is out here getting barely any unreturned serves in the year 2026

Slams and 500s merchant

Carlos: "What is a ceiling? What is a floor, even?"

Every other point is Carlos missing a 95% makeable shot then somehow making a 5% makeable shot 😭😭

It's so scripted how Carlos instantly finds another gear as soon as he gets broken. Such an adversity merchant

Outrageously good re-break.

Ohhh Carlos the way you move me
9. u/pr0crast1nater · 2026-10-27 15:45 UTC
Lmao. Only Alcaraz can get his opponent to hi-fi after a point

Whatever Carlos’s appearance fee was, it wasn’t high enough. Paid for it in match 1

Carlos has a way of making random Tuesday evenings interesting. These passing shots are 😮💨

I love the hand clap.
Deserved, both did great in that point.

What a point from both haha. That interaction at the net was lovely 😂

This match had so many great points. A very good R1 for a 500 event.
